Project

Charter Facades supplied this project with all disciplines and skills from our installation operatives, supervisors, project management, quality assurance management as well as the supply of all plant and specialist equipment to complete the installation of this external façade. In addition to the external façade elements our scope also included, fire stop specialist, abseilers, setting out engineers, supply of protection, cladding of roof plantrooms, installation of terrace curtain walling on levels 8 and 9, raised planters and terrace seating. At ground floor level we installed the retail front curtain walls, arcade timber slatted cladding, soffits and all doors.

Charter Facades engaged with the façade designer and manufacturer during the early stages of developing the elements with our installation services of the offsite visual and performance mock ups.

As part of the success of this project Charter Facades provided a team of management, quality assurance and installation operatives based for 6 months at the Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction as part of working alongside the offsite manufacture phase. Our second phase of the project from receiving these elements at the site to completing the external façade installation was over a further 12-month period.
